Poon Hill (3,210m) is the ultimate viewing point to observe stunning sunrise & sunset and the panorama of the world’s seventh, eighth & tenth highest Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Manaslu (8163m), and Mt. Annapurna (8091m) respectively, and Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal. Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and transfer to Hotel (7-8 hrs)

Day 5 : Trek from Ghandruk to Birethanti (2/3 hrs) and drive to Pokhara (3/4 hrs)

Ghorepani Poonhill Trek is a short and sweet trek at the bottom Himalayan range. The village lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA). Therefore we require a national park permit to visit (ACA). Early-time drinking water was not supplied in this place. Villagers used horses to collect the water in this place. The etymological meaning of Ghodepani means horse to water. That’s why this place was known as Ghodepani. The word Ghodepani converts to Ghorepani.
