We beseech Dorje Tötreng Tsal!

“Then, at Yangleshö, modern-day Pharping in Nepal, he practiced the sadhana of Yangdak Heruka with Shakyadevi, the daughter of a Nepalese king. Severe spirits brought about a long drought, marked by famine and disease, prompting Padmasambhava to seek guidance from his Indian teachers. Two individuals returned, bearing the tantras and commentaries of Vajrakilaya, and as soon as they arrived, the obstacles were pacified. Both Master Rinpoche and Shakyadevi attained the third vidyadhara level, known as the ‘vidyadhara of the extraordinary seal, or mahamudra.’ Master Rinpoche recognized that Yangdak is like a merchant engaging in trade, where success can be perfect, but so can the obstacles. In contrast, Vajrakilaya is akin to an armed escort; his role is to safeguard against obstacles and overcome them. Subsequently, Master Rinpoche combined the sadhanas of Yangdak and Vajrakilaya and bound the guardians of Vajrakilaya to protect the teachings.”
