Similar to other shorter treks, the Everest Panorama or View Trek starts with a scenic flight to Lukla Airport and then follows the main route of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Descending the Dudhkoshi River, the trail offers stunning views of hills, forests, and distant mountains before reaching Phakding.

The trek then enters the Sagarmatha National Park, a vast conservation area in the Everest region, with dense rhododendron forests and traditional Sherpa villages like Monjo and Jorsale en route to Namche Bazaar. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 2 : Take an early morning flight to Lukla (2827 meters) and hike for 3 hours to reach Phakding (2640 meters). Spend the night at a lodge.

Day 3 : Trek for 6-7 hours to reach Namche Bazaar (3440 meters) and stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 4 : Take a trip to Everest View Hotel to see Mount Everest and visit Khumjung Sherpa.

Day 5 : Hike back to Lukla (4 1/2 hours) and spend the night at a lodge.

Day 6 : Catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu (35 minutes).

Day 7 : Departure from Kathmandu(Farewell)

  • Bring a small daypack to carry essentials such as water, a camera, sunscreen, extra layers, etc. during the day.
  • You can store any extra luggage in the hotel.
  • The total luggage allowance for the Lukla flight is 10 kg / 22 lbs for luggage and an additional 5 kg / 11 lbs for carry-on.
  • Sleeping bags and down jackets are available for rent at $20 and $15, respectively.
  • Keep personal items like passports, medications, and other valuables in your carry-on during the flight to Lukla.
