Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Day 2 : Take an early morning flight to Lukla (2827 meters) and hike for 3 hours to reach Phakding (2640 meters). Spend the night at a lodge.

Day 3 : Trek for 6-7 hours to reach Namche Bazaar (3440 meters) and stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 4 : Take a trip to Everest View Hotel to see Mount Everest and visit Khumjung Sherpa.

Day 5 : Hike back to Lukla (4 1/2 hours) and spend the night at a lodge.

Day 6 : Catch an early morning flight back to Kathmandu (35 minutes).

Day 7 : Departure from Kathmandu(Farewell)

  • The total luggage allowance for the Lukla flight is 10 kg / 22 lbs for luggage and an additional 5 kg / 11 lbs for carry-on.
  • Sleeping bags and down jackets are available for rent at $20 and $15, respectively.
