Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi – The Scenic Drive to Langtang
Your adventure begins with a breathtaking 7–8 hour drive (122 km) north of Kathmandu. The winding mountain road follows the mighty Trishuli River, revealing panoramic views of:

Upon reaching Syabru Besi, a charming Tamang village known for its stone-built homes, we settle in for the night at a local teahouse.
Day 2: Trek from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel
Your trek officially begins as you cross the Trishuli River via suspension bridges and walk through lush forests of:

We pass through Pahiro, Bamboo, and Rimche, climbing gradually to the peaceful forest settlement of Lama Hotel (2,470m). Wildlife lovers often spot red pandas, langur monkeys, and other species inside Langtang National Park.
Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley – Entering the Himalayas
As the valley opens wider, the majestic Langtang Lirung (7,227m) comes into view. Walking beside waterfalls and through tall forests, we pass:

Day 5: Acclimatization Day – Kyanjin Ri or Tsergo Ri Hike
A full day to explore and acclimatize.

Day 7: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru – Entering the Cultural Heart of Langtang
Today’s trail takes us through the settlements of Bamboo, Syabru Besi, and thick forests of pine and oak. After a steady uphill climb, we arrive at Thulo Syabru, a vibrant Tamang village known for its cultural richness and scenic beauty.
Day 8: Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa (Chandanbari)
One of the most beautiful forest walks of the trek. We ascend through:

We reach Phoprang Danda (3,190m)—famous for sunset views. A short walk from here brings us to Shin Gompa/Chandanbari, home to:

Day 10: Gosainkunda to Ghopte – Crossing Lauribina Pass
We begin early to catch the unforgettable sunrise over the lake. Then we climb towards the Lauribina Pass (4,610m)—the highest point of the trek. After crossing the pass, the trail descends into the mystical forests of the Helambu region. We reach Ghopte for the night.
Day 11: Ghopte to Kutumsang – Entering the Helambu Region
We descend through rhododendron and bamboo forests, passing Magin Goth and enjoying views of:

By late afternoon we reach Kutumsang (2,470m), a peaceful Hyolmo village with panoramic surroundings.
Day 12: Drive from Kutumsang to Chisapani
We pass traditional villages like Bhanjyang and Chipling, and ascend to Tharepati, one of the region’s most scenic viewpoints. As we continue towards Chisapani, the forests thicken, the air cools, and the scenery becomes pristine.

Day 13: Drive to Sundarijal and Back to Kathmandu
A short downhill walk brings us to Sundarijal, the gateway to Shivapuri National Park. After exploring the waterfalls and forests, we drive back to Kathmandu—ending the trek with memories for a lifetime.
