A trekking route has been prepared to connect from the Indian border to the China border, three geographical journeys in 17 days. Tourism businessman and chairman of Earthbound Expeditions Pvt. Ltd. Rajan Sinkha announced a new trekking route on Monday, connecting Khunuwa Pass in neighboring India to Kerung Pass in China.

Named ‘Nepal Border to Border Thru Hike, this new trekking route covers the terrain from the Terai in the lower part of Nepal through various historical terrains of the mountains to the Kerung Pass connecting the high Himalayan region of Rasuwa with China.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of his trekking company Earthbound Expeditions Pvt. American hiker Mike Ovester, who visited Nepal 6 to 8 times, and native bikers Chetan Rai and Kazi Sherpa participated in this team.

The team will cover a total of 440 km long trekking route from Khunuwa at India border at Kapilvastu Taulihwa to the path where Lord Buddha walked, Ramapithecus Park, Palpa Tansen, Aryabhanjyang, Keladighat, Ghiring, Sising to Tanahun Bandipur, then Gorkha, Dhading, Nuwakot and Rasuwa to Kerung Pass in China. It took days to complete.

Sinkha informed that this new trekking route connecting the Rasuwa Kerung Pass in the Himalayan region at an altitude of 3,700 meters from the Terai area of Nepal at a height of 60 meters through the historical and tourist destinations of many districts in the mountainous region can be operated for 12 months.

He says that this trekking route, which can be walked in different sections according to one’s liking, will be completed in about 20 days if it is operated professionally.

He said that homestays and small hotels and camps in various villages can be used to visit this trekking route at a low cost, which has great potential to make tourists happy by providing a lot of entertainment.

According to him, this trekking route was discovered after two years of preparation. He said that only homestays and small hotels were used during the 17 days of trekking.

It is claimed that this trekking route is very suitable to inform the foreign tourists traveling through Nepal from India and China about the culture and tourism of Nepal.

According to him, the commercial operation of this trekking route is possible for 3500 US dollars for 20 days.
