Tourists coming to Nepal have increased by 33 percent. In the second month of 2024, 97 thousand tourists entered in February (97 thousand 426 tourists entered Nepal) by air. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 73,255 tourists visited Nepal in February 2023.
The highest number of Indian tourists came in February. 25 thousand 578 tourists have come from India. This is 26.3 percent compared to last month. 9 thousand 180 have come from China.

Last February, 88 thousand 146 tourists left Nepal. According to the board, 16 thousand 975, 8 thousand 874, 9 thousand 266, and 1 lakh 2 thousand 423 tourists came in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019 respectively.
